About Dr. Gerard Pregenzer

Gerard Pregenzer, MD, is a board-certified urologist at Pregenzer Urology, with locations in Enfield and West Hartford, Connecticut. He is well-known for providing state of the art treatments and services for BPH, OAB, kidney conditions, and Sexual Health. Dr. Pregenzer has also been awarded as a UroLift Center of Excellence for his use of the UroLift System as a treatment for BPH in men.

Dr. Pregenzer earned his medical degree with honors from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. He then completed his residency in urology at the University of Connecticut. After his residency in 2016, he joined the medical staff at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut, where he deepened his skills in prosthetic urology. In 2019, Dr. Pregenzer joined Prime HealthCare, PC and opened Pregenzer Urology in July of 2020. Our offices in Enfield and West Hartford are designed for in-office procedures and with patient comfort as the driving force behind that design.
