Dr. Billy Cordon-Galiano, a board-certified Urologist, is Director of Urologic Reconstruction Trauma and Prosthetics and an Assistant Professor at Columbia University’s Division of Urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Cordon-Galiano received his medical degree from UCSF School of Medicine. His surgical internship and urology residency was at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City where he was later appointed Chief Resident. Dr. Cordon-Galiano continued his training by completing a fellowship in Urologic Reconstructive Trauma and Prosthetics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center with Dr. Allen Morey.
Dr. Cordon-Galiano is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, and the American Urological Association. Dr. Cordon-Galiano has authored or co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, and book chapters on urologic reconstruction, sexual dysfunction, trauma, and prosthetics. He is involved in medical missionary work, where he provides free urologic reconstruction surgery in Latin America. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Cordon–Galiano is a member of the American College of Surgeons and Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons. He also belongs to the Sexual Medicine Society of North America and the American Urological Association. Dr. Cordon-Galiano has co-authored or co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed papers, abstracts, book chapters, and peer-reviewed publications on urologic reconstruction and sexual dysfunction, trauma, and prosthetics. His medical missionary work involves providing free urologic reconstructive surgery in Latin America. Dr. Cordon-Galiano fluently speaks Spanish and English.
