About Philip J. Cheng
Dr. Philip J. Cheng is a board-certified, fellowship-trained urologist that provides a full spectrum of care to his men’s health patients.
Dr. Cheng grew up in Princeton, New Jersey and moved to Houston, TX for a prestigious 8-year combined undergraduate and medical school program. He studied psychology at Rice University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Society. After college, he received a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English in Hong Kong. He returned to Houston to receive his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, graduating with honors. He then attended Harvard Medical School (Brigham & Women’s Hospital) in Boston, MA for his general surgery internship and urology residency. After residency, he went to the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where he completed his Men’s Health and Genitourinary Reconstruction fellowship under the direction of Dr. James Hotaling and Dr. Jeremy Myers.
Dr. Cheng is the director of Peak Men’s Health, which is the urology department at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey (RMANJ), one of the largest and most successful fertility practices in the world. He is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is also affiliated with Morristown Medical Center, which is ranked the number one hospital in New Jersey.
Dr. Cheng is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA), and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). He is a prolific researcher, with many academic publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is on the scientific board for Firmtech, a medical-grade penile constriction band that strengthens erections while also providing data on erectile function that can improve sexual health.
